About Our Practice

Dr. Shah is a board-certified gastroenterologist. He is local to the area- as he was born and raised in New Jersey. He was always fascinated by science and engineering, which lead him to pursue a degree in Chemical Engineering and Biomedical Engineering at Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, PA. He was born to a family of dedicated physicians practicing in the Newark, NJ area for over 30 years-- his mother being an internist, and his father being a gastroenterologist. Inspired by their service, he decided to go to medical school, and pursue a residency in Internal Medicine – where he served as chief resident, followed by a fellowship in gastroenterology.

He is a highly respected and skilled gastroenterologist who has a reputation for providing exceptional care to his patients.

He is known for his compassionate approach to treatment and his ability to effectively diagnose and manage a wide range of digestive disorders.

He is passionate about prevention of colon cancer- exceeding the benchmarks set from the American College of Gastroenterology for detection of polyps.
